Episode 139: “Should I follow up an e-book sale with a hard copy of the book – and should I charge extra for that?”

In this episode you hear me talk about following up a digital product with a hard copy by direct mail – for example – sending an e-Book customer a hard copy of the book – by direct mail.

I explain that I like this idea because I believe that Direct Mail advertising has declined recently – which means that using that medium could give you a leg up on your competition.

I also discuss long term customer values and suggest that the cost of including a direct mail followup could be easily absorbed in an upsale; and therefore would negate the need to charge the customer an extra fee.

  1. With regard to e-mails very I mean no video. Something no .How do I clear my follow if you do not have the facilities like? I guess never.
