Episode 238: “When should you switch from ‘do-it-yourself’ to outsourcing?”

Today’s episode was recorded in the MOBE Film Studio in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with one of our Diamond Mastermind partners, Karen Louise, from the UK. Karen was in Kuala Lumpur to utilize the film day that is included with any Diamond Mastermind investment. Karen wants to know when is the best time to shift from “do-it-yourself” activities to the outsourcing of certain activities.

I explain that the answer depends on your specific situation – such that if you are short of funds, you may have to handle all areas of the business yourself.

I suggest that as you begin to get sales, you should reinvest those proceeds into your business by outsourcing your non-revenue producing activities (i.e. administrative duties) to someone else who can do the work more efficiently and more effectively, while leaving you free to focus specifically on your marketing and the revenue producing activities that will bring in even more sales.
