Episode 437: “At what point should you stop pursuing a lead?”

Today’s episode was  recorded during a white water rafting activity at the Diamond Mastermind  in Bali, Indonesia, with Diamond member Michelle Yong who lives in Singapore. Michelle wants to know at what point do you stop pursuing a lead to achieve a sale.

I explain that my preference is to attract rather than pursue – which helps me to focus my attention on warm leads rather than cold leads.

I talk about how I market myself by creating a list and then using mass marketing campaigns; such as email marketing, webinar marketing, and video marketing where I give away valuable content to my subscribers.

I explain that this approach not only positions me as an expert, it also allows me leave a call to action to determine interest. My follow-up is then directed to the leads who have demonstrated an interest in what I am offering.
