Episode 589: “How do you monitor the performance of your staff?”

Today’s episode was recorded from the stage at the Sunset Del Mar Resort in Costa Rica during a Titanium Mastermind, with Diamond member Aaron Koh who lives in Singapore. Aaron wants to know how I monitor the performance of my staff as I have scaled my business over the years.

I explain that performances are measured in different ways, depending on the role of the staff member; whereby for sales roles or other positions where production is measurable in numbers, evaluating performance is easy – but other positions may be more difficult to gage.

I talk about how in the beginning of building your business, you will make all hiring and firing decisions but as you begin to grow, you will be able to hire managers who will take over those responsibilities as you begin to scale.

I discuss MOBE’s current company structure where our divisions are operated by managers who oversee staff hiring and the evaluation of staff performance to make our operation as efficient at possible.
