Today’s episode was recorded in the bush of Western Australia on my parents’ wheat and sheep farm. I requested questions on Facebook and I received some good ones that I am going to record for you over the coming days. Today’s question is from Angela who wants to know what is the best way to create a high converting followup sequence.

I talk about how much I love email marketing and how it is one of the primary channels of my business because, compared to other marketing mediums, the email inbox is still the primary point of business for anyone in an online business.

I explain the importance of telling stories when crafting your emails that will engage your audience and will state a benefit or overcome an objection – and then I give other examples that will help to draw your audience in.

I suggest a strategy of brainstorming topics to create a list of ideas that you can begin to craft a sequence of followup emails that will allow for some continuation of content but stress the importance of writing emails to your list everyday; as well as offering other suggestions that will help you to build a relationship with your followers that will help them come to know, like and trust you – which then makes them good customers who want to buy what you are offering.
