Episode 635: “Why are most of the internet marketers I meet broke?”

Today’s episode was recorded on the beach of my private island in Fiji. Recently, I made a request on Facebook for people to send in questions for me to answer about your business. I received some good ones that I am going to record for you over the coming days. Today’s question is from Brett, who wants to know why most of the internet marketers he meets are broke.

I talk about how when you meet an internet marketer, you are often meeting a first time entrepreneur who is a business opportunity seeker who has not yet identified what he needs to do in order to become successful.

I discuss how a business opportunity seeker is often looking for the next big thing – and therefore can’t see that the problem is not in offer but in their approach to their business.

I explain that a successful entrepreneur is not a business opportunity seeker; but a strategic business owner who has matured to the point that he realizes that the solution is within – that if he wants to be successful (i.e., NOT broke), he has to stop jumping from one offer to another and stick with one thing and perfect the process until he figures out how to make sales.
