Episode 671: “What would you say was the single most important turning point in the success of your business?”

Today’s episode was recorded on a boat during activity day at the Diamond Mastermind in Costa Rica. Diamond Consultant David Franzen, who lives in Florida wants to know what is the single most important factor to impact my success.

I talk about how in the days when I was not making any money at all, I began to slowly realize that I was spending my time focused on the wrong things in my business.

I discuss how I spent too much time focused on the wrong activities and continued to educate myself but I didn’t spend enough time implementing what I was learning.

I explain that I realized that it would take action on my part to make my business successful; so I began to use public accountability to force myself to dive into the deep end of the pool and begin to make sales presentations and webinars to my customers. The social accountability forced me to meet the deadlines I set so that would have no choice but to follow through and just get it done – even when it wasn’t perfect.
