Episode 675: “How do you make time for exercise in your busy schedule?”

Today’s episode was recorded on a boat during activity day at the Diamond Mastermind in Costa Rica. Diamond Consultant Ann Roberts, who lives in Alaska in the USA, wants to know how I fit exercise and fitness into my busy schedule.

I talk about my exercise of choice, which is running (usually on the beach when I am in Costa Rica) and how I have made it a non-negotiable part of my schedule each day, with the occasional exception when I am flying and/or sometimes when speaking on stage and filming Diamond videos might interfere.

I discuss the conditions that help me stay on track with my running; such as running to music that I enjoy – because this helps me look forward to unplugging from other things for a short period of time and doing what I need to do to stay fit – which leads to better health and overall better productivity in my day.

I explain that I learned awhile ago that, especially for me, being disciplined in any area of my life spills over into all areas of my life and really helps to keep me balanced and focused on achieving all of the goals and obligations that I set for myself.
